When to Make an Appointment?
Whenever there is ongoing concern about your child’s behaviour. It’s never too minor, and it’s never to late to do something about it. Sometimes it’s just reassurance that you’re on the right track, or guidance on where to from here.
Referrals? Medicare, NDIS, Private, all families across Australia
Medicare – With a GP Mental Health Care Plan or a referral from a Paediatrician, patients are bulk-billed. Telehealth visits are fully covered by Medicare and referrals are valid across Australia.
NDIS – Self-managed and Plan Managed Telehealth sessions are covered and this service is available AUSTRALIA wide.
Private Paying – No referral is required. Session cost is $190, Private Health rebates may apply, please check with your fund.

Technology now makes it very easy, either a phone call or a click on the email link provided. If you’re still worried, just try it once and see how it goes; there’s nothing to loose, and this is often more preferable than waiting for months for a face-to-face appointment.
Does my child need to be there the whole time?
Medicare (MHCP referrals) require the child to be present most of the time – this is easily managed and can be discussed in your first appointment. It’s a good idea to have things for a child to do while the adults have a chat.
I have a Telehealth Appointment booked, how do I connect to Telehealth at my appointment time?
You will be emailed a Coviu Telehealth Appointment Link prior to your appointment. Follow the prompts and a window will open in your web browser. You’ll be prompted when the session is about to start.
Can a Telehealth Appointment be just a phone call?
Yes, whatever you prefer. Telephone calls can be just as effective, and can be less stressful than a video-call. If you would prefer a phone call, just have your phone handy at your appointment time and Simon will call you at your appointment time.
How do I cancel or change my appointment time?
